Method
- Slice the tomato in ¼ in slices.
- Slice the mozzarella in ¼ in slices.
- Layer the tomato, mozzarella, and a single basil leaf in an alternating pattern around the edge of the plate.
- Finely chop additional herbs and sprinkle evenly over top.
- Drizzle about a Tbs of olive oil over the whole dish.
- Top with sea salt, pepper, and additional basil leaves if desired.
