Volunteer with us

Volunteering with Rooted is a great way to get involved in the community, meet people, learn more about gardening and sustainability, and get volunteer hours for school. You do not need gardening experience to volunteer with us!

There are many opportunities to volunteer with Rooted:

• Volunteer to help with special events (like a Fall fair or a major planting day).
• Volunteer during the summer to help with weeding, pruning, watering, and other general gardening tasks in the food security garden.
• Volunteer to help with kids camps, classes, and events. (There is a mandatory police check and training to work with kids at Rooted).
